Rogue Changes for Cataclysm

From a "Blue" Post I found on the MMO forums:

"In Cataclysm, Rogues will be undergoing a major class design overhaul as we re-evaluate our vision for the class.
Often times we see people suggest dual-spec ideas for rogues such as an evasion-tank type build, this however is just not in line with Blizzards vision.

Instead, the direction we would like to see the Rogue class headed is one of cheerleader, or bench warmer.
I mean, really....what is ANY team (or raid) without those specially trained cheerleaders on the side, providing that much needed moral buff for the rest of the team (raid).
So, here are some changes that we are mulling over for cataclysm:

    * After much quiet contemplation Rogues now have the ability to dual-wield pom-poms.
    * Rogues will no longer deal direct damage, they will instead tickle, pinch, and coo enemies into submission.
    * Vanish redesigned: Instead of attempting to overcome the design flaws of vanish, Vanish will no longer cause your character to gain stealth, it will instead place a neon flashing hunters mark over your head for 2 minutes, increasing the distance at which you can be spotted. (Hey--reverse psychology works sometimes, why not in game design?)
    * Stuns: We feel that the rogue class has too much control in PvP via the use of stunlocks. Stuns will now be replaced with an ability called "tickle fight". Using tickle fight has a 10/20/30% chance to cause your enemy to laugh incessantly at you while bashing your face in through your leather armor.
    * Speaking of leather armor--Rogues will no longer have the ability to wear leather armor. Rogues will instead be issued matching footy-pajamas. (Butt-flap artwork will be faction-specific.)"
