Anyone have a good talent tree that I could take a look at.  I am thinking of taking my druid this way and would like to learn more.  There is great info here and I wanted to thank everyone for sharing.

It's been a while since I've gone boomkin-ing, but this is the spec I would use.  I've noticed some people would move some points to get Gale Winds or Owlkin Frenzy, but I never went with either of those since Gale Winds only benefits AoE damage (for the most part) and Owlkin Frenzy strikes me as super situational.

Ian thanks for the link.  Here is another question for you.  What is the first stat that we need to look for on gear for the boomkin  Stamina and then intellect?  oh and are there two specs that we can use the same gear for as a druid?  Thanks everyone for all the help that you give on this forum.

As with any caster class, stat priority initially falls to +hit until you reach hit cap (your souped up spells aren't doing anyone any good if you aren't hitting the monsters).  Luckily as boomkin your hit cap is one of the lowest, only needing 263 if you followed the spec I posted earlier.  After you reach hit cap the focus becomes crit and spellpower.  If your crit is low, you're squandering a great bit of your damage ability since the boomkin's abilities hinge a lot on how much you crit.  Once you're comfortable with where your crit is at you should start stacking spellpower.  That's not to say haste isn't important, but (and take all this with a grain of salt and someone call bullshit if I'm saying something wrong, it's been a while since I've boomchickened) most of your haste should come from gear and you probably shouldn't gem for it.  EDIT:  Having my own questions I did some poking around, apparently haste is more beneficial than other stats untill you reach around 400 haste (except hit, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE HIT CAPPED I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH), after 400 haste you can start looking at stacking spellpower and crit.

The only two specs that can (and in a lot of cases do) use the same gear set will be feral cats and bears.  The stat priority for both is different, but there's a lot of gear overlap between them anyway.

You can use similar sets between moonkin and resto...

If you heal in your moonkin set, obviously you'll have wasted haste... and likely low spirit. Your mana regen and spellpower in tree form will hurt from that.

If you moonkin in a resto set, you'll likely miss a lot without the hit and you'll have more spirit and haste than you need.

That said, you can interchange some gear. You might not be the best at healing or damage, but you could do a passable job at either, I'm sure.

Do you know what "nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent;
personified in this case by a horrible cunt... me.

Leveling up though it shouldn't matter as much with sharing gear until you get closer to 80?
