Nah, I leveled my Paladin quickly once I started playing him since I really liked the class. I've been doing a level a night on Vitandus when I play him. Tanked Ramparts last night and it was a blast.

Now, it may be 2010 and Blizzard has done something stupid like World of Warcraft: 40000 Orcs In Space before Bushiyama hits 70....

That's kinda stupid that they're BoP. So, if you want to tank with a DK, you almost have to be a BS. But my pally is a BS. (and HIS crafted weapon is BoE, oh the irony)

the Defender says it's a sword, but it is definitely an axe.

I think it's a PTR issue, and we'll see it corrected when 3.0.8 goes live.

its unfortunate that the titansteel helm and boots don't have that much defense.  Might make them worth having

The two-handed Blacksmithing tanking weapons are not going to be implemented.

Indeed, we did not want to stick DKs with these weapons forever, nor did we want to start itemizing 2H tanking weapons forever. DKs were designed to tank with 2H dps weapons.

The new sigil and runeforge enchant should help players with low defense.
