I know it's my fault for being so drunk in the first place, but real friends wouldn't let me heal HoS and/or OK every time I get fucked up.

Think about it.

You lack discipline!
Fantasy, abandoned by reason, produces impossible monsters; united with it, she is the mother of the arts and the origin of marvels.  - Francisco de Goya

When I was young, I would drink sh?ch? while conducting my daily chores. I would haul the blocks of rice from the barge to the usu, where I would pound mochi. On every trip, I would drink more sh?ch?. This made each trip a little more difficult as I would have to maintain absolute focus to keep the packages of rice from falling off my shoulders.

As the day progressed, my mother would ensure I maintain discipline and focus by coming at me with a bokut?. If my attention faltered for a moment, no matter how drunk, then I would get beaten with the wooden sword. You soon learn to stay focused even when drunk and to be alert for the sudden whoosh of the coming blow.

That, dear Joe, is why we have you heal the rough runs. We want to teach you discipline and focus.

Real friends get drunk with you.
Rule #1: Nobody is your friend.
Rule #2: Do not feel sorry for anybody.
Rule #3: Do not trust anybody.
Rule #4: Nobody can help you.
Rule #5: You gotta look good.

Acree

Noted, I asked you for a regular OK, which is much different from Heroic.

Also, if you were here in Ithaca, I'd want to get wasted WITH you.

Chew on that a little my friend.   :)

Also, Props to Pat for a nice post.  It would have been better if you had invoked chicken/watermellon somehow.
