Title: Barbus's App
Post by: Barbus on Tue, 2009-07-14 : 23:33
Character name(s), class(s), build(s), and level(s)
Barbus: level 73 death knight duel speced unholy and frost
Hanya: level 70 balance druid (will duel spec once I begin leveling him again)

Player name (We operate on a first name basis in HDL)
Sean

Player age - [HDL] guild and Ventrilo chatter is for mature audiences only. If you are not 18+, you will need to be sponsored by a guild member in good standing.
18

Where did you hear about [HDL]?
From my friend Geo (Lumara).

Why do you want to join [HDL]?
To be able to play with some good friends, and get a chance to see the new raid content.

If you are in a guild, why are you leaving?
I am not in guild, I just transferred from a lower population, lower raiding server.

Will you dedicate 5 days a week to raiding?
Not every week, but if my schedule allows I would.

If you answered ""Yes" to the question above, are you aware that [HDL] is not a hard core raiding guild?
Yes.

Will you dedicate 2 nights a week to raiding?
Most weeks I would be more than happy to raid 2-3 nights a week, some weeks my schedule may conflict.

Addendum, 23 February 2008 - we are very full on melee DPS and are at capacity for tanks. We are currently seeking ranged DPS, and will always welcome healers.

You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
3. If all members are present run into the instance, if we are still waiting on several characters I would have some fun and corpse camp....  :-P

3. Inform my guild group and see whether to attack or enter instance.

A tea bag is 1) a small porous bag containing tea leaves or powdered tea, onto which boiling water is poured in order to make a drink of tea, or 2) a verb.
Well either one is a viable answer.

Does .Net suck?
I wouldn't know I've never met her.

Whiskey or whisky?
Hmmm that's a hard one.....whiskey

Rank in importance to you: Raiding, Fun, PVP, Loot, Camaraderie, Wine, Women/Men, Music, Altaholism, Crafting.
Music(my future career), Fun, Raiding, Camaraderie, Wine, Crafting, Altaholism
I didn't put Women/Men on here because I'm happily in a relationship so no running around chasing women for me.

Please provide a perl script that will sort a CSV file by first column, then second, and then insert into a mysql database.
I don't know

Can you follow kill order?
Yes

We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
Yes

Are you aware the [HDL] is largely a collection of angry and cynical players and under-geared toons?
What?... angry and cynical....why didn't you tell me, I'll fit right in.

Really? Why do you still want to join [HDL]
Because I have several good friends in this guild and I'd like the opportunity to play with them.

Below is the reason i like angry cynical players

His Mom and my Mother-In-Law have been friends for a while.  I think the term in popular parlance is "friend of the family".  As an Italian, we abuse use the word cousin!

I have been abusing him in instances this past week while they were up for my bother-in-law's wedding. =)

Just talked to him today, he has hit 80 and wanted me to put in a good word for him, so I am bumping it.  I will let him know to contact an officer next time I see him.
