I was going to also get the PSP-Go until I read about it. I think I'll settle with a fat PSP-2000 or PSP-3000 and get the TV hookup cable. My PSP-1000 has dead pixels everywhere.
What do I like though...pretty much grinding-RPGs. Right now I'm playing a lot of Dissidia and going to get Monster Hunter Freedom Unite sooner or later. I was going to get Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce but that is coming to the XBox360 later on.
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Pros-
-fully controlled battle system (your can move around your selected character, choose attacks, etc)
-various party options (choose to add one person and you can't get someone else)
- The AI for the members you dont directly control in battle is actually intelligent
- Extremely well developed story (just when you think it ends........ type deal)
- post game content (psycho hard dungeon upon completion)
- play through as either of the two main characters (lena, claude)
- item creation system and skills developement for powering party members how you want
- private action system for almost every town (interact with other party members for better game ending)
Con's-
- was originally for the PS so graphics are on par with that
- no clear definitions as to when you are losing bonus party member options
- item creation is kinda useless in the early stages of the game (Save for cooking/ healing items)
- party strength can be unbalanced at end game (one character being level 147 and others being 89ish)
- character voice for claude is F-ing annoying
- sometimes unsure about how to react when in "private action mode"
these were my opinions of the game and all in all i thought it was badass. Most of the games in this series rocked and if your into good sci-fi space type rpg's this will do it for you.
