In this same vein, there's a pizza/sub shop that originated in NJ called Neubies.  They have lunch trucks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grease_Trucks) that frequent all of the colleges in the central NJ area that sell "fat sandwiches".  Their flagship sub is the "Fat Darrell (http://www.fatdarrell.com/home.htm)", which consists of chicken fingers, french fries, mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce on a hoagie/sub roll.  Was voted America's Best Sandwich one year.
