Where did you hear about [HDL]?
- Was looking at the horde guilds on this server and this one seems to fit my playing style and available time frame.
Why do you want to join [HDL]? I am looking for a casual/progressive guild. Somewhere were I can relax, have a good time, and be around other adults.
What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
- 2005-2006 was on Firetree in the guild The Night Guard. Original members got frustrated when BC came out and we were not progressing as fast as they wanted too. They left to go to another server. I had just moved in real life so I decided to move to Hellscream since my coworkers and new friends were playing there.
- 2006-2008 bounced a few guilds trying to find the right fit for me & the hubby. Finally found a home in Omen. After a few months we realized that the guild leader was a little more then obsessive. Would get mad at the guild for raiding while he was at work and start booting people out of the guild. Husband & I decided this was not how we wanted to spend our on-line time. We then decided to create our own guild called Casual Status on his birthday. Since then, Omen has been disbanded and 99% of the members went to another server. In recent months a lot of the Casual Status members have either quit playing or moved to the alliance side since it is easier to win PVP and get pick up group for raids. I am now looking for a new home where I enjoy playing WoW again.
What do you want from a guild?
- I want to have a good time. I am not looking for this to be my 2nd job. Real life comes 1st.
Can you follow kill order?
- Yes, as long as it is stated ahead of time.
Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player?
- If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each? I am a casual player but I do also like to pvp. I am not great at pvp but I give it my all. I was part of a 2v2 with my mage until my partner went to the alliance side.
Raiding Questions
Will you dedicate 5 days a week to raiding?
- No. 2 nights tops. I have a family so they take up most of my time.
If you answered ""Yes" to the question above, are you aware that [HDL] is not a hard core raiding guild?
Will you dedicate 2 nights a week to raiding?
- I will try my best. Sometime real life gets in the way; work and family. I am active duty military so there are times when I cannot get out of work and will not be able to make it.
Are you willing to take/accept criticism to make you a better player?
- I won't on my priest unless it is to help me do better with my shadow spec. I have been playing holy since day 1 (5 years) and hate to tutu my own horn but I am damn good at it.
We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
- Yes
What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
- For my Priest Holy is my main, shadow is my 2nd. Prefer holy. It is embarrassing to see me try and dps as shadow.
- My mage is normally arcane but I do have frost as well.
What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
- For healing it all depends on what I am doing and what is needed. I really don't have a set spell rotation.
- For the mage it is arcane blast until missile pops up. Rinse and repeat unless I am to dispel.
Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants.
- Gear is Int, spirit, spell, haste. Gems is spell, int, haste, spirit. Enchants is spell, haste, mana regen.
What do you think of Gearscore?
- I think GS is pointless. Even if you have the best gear you can still be a crappy player. That also goes the other way too. You can have crappy gear but still be a great player.
PVP Questions
You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
- my answer is 3. I would see what the fellow raiders want to do. If we out number the gnome and there are no other alliance and the rest of the group that is there would want to kill it then I am game for it. But if it is going to slow us down then I pass and try to get the others to pass as well.

- lol... It's both. I drink a lot of hot tea. :)
Do you prefer Battlegrounds, Arenas, or World PVP? Why?
- I prefer BGs and arena. BGs are just to rack up the honor to buy the gear. Arenas are to learn teamwork with your fellow members.
What is your favorite battleground? Why?
- I would have to say AB. I like capturing the bases and defending. Plus the horde seem to do well in that one. Better teamwork.

- some what social and friendly. I try and help out where I can and when I can.

Are you aware the [HDL] is largely a collection of angry and cynical players and under-geared toons?
- Now I do and so am I.
Really? Why do you still want to join [HDL]
- I want to find a place when I can be myself, have a good time and unwind. Where I am not expected to be on 100% of my time when I am not working/eating/sleeping. I am looking for a new home where its not stressful. Not a lot of drama. I know that no guild is drama free, but I don't want to be in one that is all they have.

HDL knows, understands and respects that real life comes first. This is just a game.

I completely understand the type of requirements expected of you when it comes to the Military. I'm also active duty and there are times when my responsibility has to come first. This goes back to the understanding that real life is always going to be put before this game.

It sounds like you're also the type of people we like to have amongst us. Like you said, no place is drama free but I think you will be happy with how rare and far between it is here.
One of the things about being a more casual guild is that we do prefer people tell us when they won't be able to make a raid, or to use the raid calendar. Are you willing to make that level of effort?

Also, who would win in a fight, a troll or a rogue?
Yes I am a strong believer in the calendar. I am constantly preaching to my folks to use it. Hence why I am looking to take a step back and just be a player then the solo leader/mother of the guild.
As for who would win the fight, obviously it be a troll rogue! ;)
