Where did you hear about [HDL]?
WoW forums
Why do you want to join [HDL]?
I would like to join HDL because I am looking for a great guild home. I am looking for a structured yet enjoyable Raid/PvP environment. (I've just recently delved into PvP with my hunter and love it. I don't have any real pvp experience, wouldn't mind trying though lol). I am an undergraduate student and a wife, so I value my playtime very much. I do my best to make that playtime as enjoyable as possible for myself and my guild/raid mates.
What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
Tel Mithrim is the guild my shaman is from. I have been in TM on Aerie Peak for over a year now. I leave behind many dear friends in hope of better raiding opportunities (for my time schedule), a chance to play WoW with my brother (Jon), and to make many new friends. In Vanilla I played Horde, and TBC and WotLK I've been Alliance. I'd like to get back to my horde roots for this expansion and beyond lol.
What do you want from a guild?
Foremost, I want to enjoy my online experience. I want to be a part of a guild community (I enjoy seeing lots of green guild text on my screen and "wall of text" forum posts!). I expect a constructive and supportive raid/pvp/casual environment. I am looking for a second "home", a place for friends and slaying of dragons!
Can you follow kill order?
Yes. I must admit I've been a healer for most of my WoW career, but the few times I've been asked to DPS I handle myself pretty well.
Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player? If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each?
I am a raid oriented player with a casual schedule. I would like to PvP more in this expansion.
65%Raiding 25%Casual 10% PvP

Raiding Questions
Will you dedicate 5 days a week to raiding?
I cannot.
If you answered ""Yes" to the question above, are you aware that [HDL] is not a hard core raiding guild?
Will you dedicate 2 nights a week to raiding?
Certainly
Are you willing to take/accept criticism to make you a better player?
Yes
We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
Yes, I have used Deus vox instead of DBM before.
What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
I prefer Restoration/Healing roles on most characters (only one I've never healed as, is Paladin). I usually leave my DPS/secondary spec up to the needs of my raid group.
Amidia-Resto*/Enh currently
Cocodrie-Balance*/Resto (Not much experience with resto druids since vanilla)
Käyla-BM*/MM
What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
Amidia-Shaman- I've never been able to utilize a certain rotation when healing. Riptide (SPLASH!) was used before chain heals. In 10man environment, I was using LHW like a champ (worked well on the tank with the ES glyph/talent). Of course mechanics/spells have changed, and I look forward to getting used to my new spells (OMG Healing rain, can't wait!!!) and abilities. Spiritwalker will be a Godsend for us resto shammies.
Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants. (My characters have not been touched gear/gem wise since 4.0.1.) For LK raiding, I gemmed and enchanted mostly for haste and spellpower. This allowed me to get substantial heals out quickly. I frequent Plus Heal, Elitist Jerks, and the new TotemSpot for recent build changes/advice/tactics and incorporate changes to my characters as needed for my playstyle.
What do you think of Gearscore?
I think it is an unfortunate plague of a concept. Gear is needed for certain levels of content, this is for sure. But it has done an injustice to good players coming back to the game.

PVP Questions
You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
1-Business before pleasure, I say.

3- Encourage the group to take down the little scoundrel and then proceed to the instance.
A tea bag is 1) a small porous bag containing tea leaves or powdered tea, onto which boiling water is poured in order to make a drink of tea, or 2) a verb.
Meep! I choose 1
Do you prefer Battlegrounds, Arenas, or World PVP? Why?
I prefer Battlegrounds on my hunter. There is a thrill to running into battle with at least 9 other warriors. World PvP was the best in vanilla. I don't care what anyone says.
What is your favorite battleground? Why?
Warsong gulch by far. I just love it, the simplicity of capturing the flag and fighting back to base.
Rank in important to stack for an Arena battle: Resilience, Attack Power/Spell Power, Critical Strike, Hit Rating.
Due to my lack of true PvP experience, I'm not qualified to answer this question. I've heard in Wotlk that resilience is king (or you're like a wet napkin out on the battlefield), but I have no experience or evidence to back that up.

Magic, I say.
What is your favorite instance? What is your favorite boss fight?
HoS or HoL is good. My favorite boss fight in the game is Sindragosa. She makes for interesting shaman healing, but I just adore the fight.
Are you easily offended? Is your hot button race, religion, sex, or politics?
Not really. I don't complain much at all, but I also won't join in conversations about those things in game.
Are you aware the [HDL] is largely a collection of angry and cynical players and under-geared toons?
I'll be in good company then.
Really? Why do you still want to join [HDL]
Sounds like a great place for a WoW home. Plus, everyone I have whispered in game has been so pleasant.
YOUR PATHETIC MAGIC BETRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSS YOU!
Do you keyboard turn?

Surprisingly magic is an acceptable answer.
It's statistically proven that women ruin everything. Do you plan on ruining everything?
Also, do you hate your druid so much that you needed to call it a shaman? (I don't blame you, I probably hate your druid too)
And third - You clearly did not whisper the right people if everyone was pleasant.

Agreed.
I feel bad for the husband...He ranked 4th...just below Raiding... ;D
All of that being said!
Stacy,
We spoke through whispers in-game while I was on my Paladin. Hunt me or another HDL member out in game and we'll toss you a guild invite.

Yes, I do plan to ruin everything (It's part of the Ovarian Code... meep, I've said to much).
No, I don't hate my druid. I just apparently love my shaman that much more.

And my husband comes first in everything, but I figured for ingame purposes those other things are ranked pretty high (If only i could convince him to play WoW with me )
