Title: Kellanon's macros
Post by: Vitandus on Fri, 2008-09-05 : 00:22
Arcane Torrent/Mana Tap
/cast [button:2] Arcane Torrent; Mana Tap
Left click for Tap, right click for torrent.

For my Judgement/Seal rotation, I use this model:
#showtooltip Seal of Justice
#show Judgement
/cast [button:2] Seal of Justice; Judgement
/cast [button:2] Judgement;Seal of Justice

In very hectic fights, this may be mana inefficient as you'll be using keys rather than clicking. However, this ensures you are able to use the proper judgement on a target.

#showtooltip Consecration
/cast [nocombat] Consecration(Rank 1); Consecration

I used to have a modifier-based ranked Consecration. This is from WoWWiki and much better - if I am defending a point in Arathi, trigger Rank 1. If in combat, rank 6.

i HATE how you use your mouse to cast.  I just can't imagine it being as fast as key bindings.

Oh and as Todd said CLICKER!

If you read the fucking post, you'd see that I said it's mana inefficient since most time you will be using key bindings, not clicking.

Don't get so angry, I was referring to how you use your mouse to click all your buttons.  I have seen your UI and video's of your gameplay.  I know you have you action buttons all in a block on your lower left corner so as to minimize mouse movement.  I am not attacking you, I'm just saying I can't imagine how you click/cast so fast.  More of a compliment really...

I am hardly angry. I'm not emo.

I moved my buttons to the middle a few months ago. There were in the lower left corner for key presses - I wanted to visually map the left side of the screen to buttons that I would be hitting mostly with my left hand. Some UI theory says a visual representation should match physical orientation.

Unless you are playing a Warlock, Druid, or Shaman in PVP easy mode, then hitting shift, alt, or ctrl is difficult while constantly moving. Hence the need to click once in a while.
