Title: Upcoming changes in 3.1 for Hunters

    * Consumable ammunition has been removed from the game. Arrows and bullets no longer stack, but are not consumed. Ranged attack speed bonus gained from quivers and ammo bags will be preserved in a different capacity.
    * A new tier of hunter pet talents have been added. In particular, this allows Beastmaster hunters to improve their damage per second (DPS) with their 51 point talent.
    * Hunting Party – this talent has been reduced to 3 ranks and also grants a passive bonus to the hunter.
    * Piercing Shots – this talent has been changed. Your Aimed, Steady and Chimera Shots cause the target to bleed for 10/20/30% of damage dealt for 8 sec.
    * Sniper Training – this talent has been changed. After standing still for 6 sec, you gain a 2/4/6% damage bonus to Steady, Aimed and Explosive Shot.
    * We are also looking to add additional trap functionality to Survival.

# Wyvern Sting duration increased from 12 sec to 30 sec. PvP duration reduced from 10 sec to 6 sec.

Wyvern Sting is great news for PVE. I use this a lot when kiting multiple mobs, trap one, sting another, and kite the rest. The 12 sec duration was good, but 30 sec is even better.

The reduction for PVP is not so great.

I really like the fact that I hopefully will be able to choose a pet based on the encounter. I have one for every situation but it sure was a pain having to make the trek to the Stable Master to get the pet I needed. I remember Ghostcrawler mentioned this was something they were hoping to implement. He did not give a timeframe. Hopefully we'll see this sooner, rather than later.

Re: Lock and Load
I wish it still worked on all traps. I love trapping and I get L&L a lot! It looks like Blizzard wants S Hunters to use Black Arrow instead of (or along with) Serpent Sting for the Lock and Load talent.

The undocumented changes, for the most part, seem fine for Survival Hunters. I'll have to try them out to see what I think. I was actually going to try out Improved Wingclip to see how I liked it. I use Wingclip while soloing. I've used it in some instances too, not sure how viable that will be in the raid setting though. I lay a trap, WC, gain distance, kite, and fire my shot rotation. I guess I won't have the chance now since it's being removed from the game.
