Title: Battle.net mobile authenticator announced!
Post by: Vitandus on Thu, 2009-03-19 : 16:50
Battle.net mobile authenticator announced! I've been asking for this for years: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=26109

I always have my iPhone with me, and don't want to carry yet another RSA-type fob. This is awesome.

Bah, iphones only. They've taken the fobs completely out of the blizzard store after being out of stock for a month or two. Sure the phone authenticator is a better idea, but those of us who are not apple fags get to wait another month or two while bliz gets their shit together with major carriers.

Yes, our choice of OS dictates our sexual preference and fuels your homophobia.
Releasing code for non-smartphones in the US is difficult, even when it is just a BREW app. It used to take Verizon 6 to 12 months to approve bug fixes to apps. Painful.
