I'm seriously considering that second one.
which ever spec you pick you need glyph of life tap as soon as you can get it, the dps boot will be phenomenal

I was looking at that, but everything I've read says it's not worth it. Life Tap is not and should not be part of your rotation, so you will not see the benefits from the glyph often at all. Better to take the glyph for Immolate or Corruption IMO.
But regardless, we should test it. I plan on testing alot of spec/glyph combinations tonight.

Bzzzt, wrong again. Life Tap should be a part of your rotation. With the glyph you get 20% of Spirit as spell power. It currently stacks with the Tier 7 and Tier 7.5 set bonus.
Side note, if you are Affliction, you should never take the Glyph of Immolate.
Revisiting my initial conclusion. Initialially I was going on my experience with affliction pre-3.1. I don't consider a spell that is cast every 5 or 6 rotations as part of the rotation. However having played destruction now for a little while, I've found that it's usually neccessary to cast Life Tap every other rotation. I withdraw my previous statement that the glyph would not be useful because it wouldn't be active often. Casting Life Tap every 8-9th cast (just for an example), the glyph would have alot of opportunity to proc.
I'm not sure I'm willing to pay quite as much as the glyph is going for right now.
The glyph doesn't proc - it's a straight boost. Rotate every 20s, and you're set.
