Lets just lump specs or roles into one topic so everyone and their monkey doesn't have a separate topic. Or you can continue to do so, but I'm using this for Prot. The philosophy here is spec for raid bosses.

You might notice I only have one point in Spiritual Attunement (tier 7). I've yet to test it out, but even as this spec, that talent is taken only as a filler. The bulk of mana return should now come from Guarded by the Light (tier 9).
Depending on personal preference and play style, there are a few points that can be shifted around. 2 points can be removed from Guardian's Favor (tier 2), and 3 points from Sanctity of Battle (tier 4), to put 5 points into Seals of the Pure (tier 1) for more Seal/Judgement of Corruption damage. The reason I didn't take it is because Seal/Judgement of Corruption is only a small percentage of my overall threat on a boss. Shield of Righteousness and Hammer of the Righteous make up a majority of my threat, so that's where the extra 3% crit rating would help. You can never have enough threat.
The five points can also be used for Divinity (tier 1), but again, I don't know the overall effect of it, as a 5% extra heal can mean life or death, but I trust healers more than that. I see it as more of a Holy spec talent.
When speccing Prot, I like to take the first tier spell in Holy - Seals of the Pure. It makes Seal of Corruption do more damage, and more damage is more threat. Though, I can see where you are coming from with your choice. I'm just not sure how well Exorcism would fit into the other parts of the prot rotation. Also, I don't think I specced for it this time, I might have to pay to respec, but I like taking Pursuit of Justice out of Ret. Faster movement, is faster repositioning. It also comes with the benefit of cutting down disarm time.
Also, Reckoning might make a more useful talent if you take the new tanking enchant for your weapon.
