Gear, raiding, and DPS

This is the list of the top 20 DPS characters by gear rating. I admit that these lists are subject to some interpretation, but the underlying truth is there - we have a core of people that are solidly geared. Yes, we could stand more gear to make Ulduar 25 more viable but our gear is really not the blocker.

Please put forth the effort to learn how to maximize the gear you have. That - and not getting you more gear - will be the difference between success and failure in our Ulduar 25 runs.

i feel the need to point out that alundra, who is middle of this list constantly pushes me in dps. he does thru a mastery of his class.

Sad times - the screen shot doesn't have me on there, because I'm in my tank gear from reading.  This means that everyone should beat me on deeeeeps!

QFT.  It's not all about the gear, but about knowledge of rotations and the like.  I was surprised to see him down in the middle of the list myself.

That one is from wow-heroes.com. There is a similar list at be.imba.hu.

A poll of the data today shows some shifts. Again, class to class on similar fights, those higher on this chart should out-DPS those lower. There will be exceptions but the general rule is that better gear should mean better DPS.

Last night's progress in Ulduar Heroic. Javn is not represented since he healed a good portion of the raid.

Good progress on DPS. Still room for improvement. Keep it up!

I also see a lot of deviation in performance. Some of you perform well in one raid on some bosses, and then do less than stellar the next run. Please see what you can do to level your performance.

just wait till i fine tune my rotation a bit more, and get more experince raiding as a warlock...i will get better!
