Hammer of Wrath - the myth

I have run into several paladins and blog posting stating that Hammer of Wrath is a horrid spell for Retribution since it hurts your DPS. Wrong.

This spell scales with Attack Power and Spell Power. Any Retribution Paladin worth his salt has Heart of the Crusader, Sanctified Seals, and Sanctified Wrath. All of those increase the chance of the Hammer to do a critical strike. It's now an instant cast spell, and with the proper glyph, costs no mana.

In other words, pop it if you got it.

Well, I still prioritize judgement over HoW.

Judgement also has a high crit % and it's crits are MUCH bigger. Plus mana gains for you and party.
