A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Why do you want to join [HDL]?
Looking for a home with good people.

What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
I played several different characters before, but used to be primarily known as a feral druid named Cayn.  I was in Novus Suscipio and all previous incarnations, including HDL at one point I believe.  I ended up in Udder Perfection with Cayn when a merger went through.  Eventually, I decided to quit the game and gave my account away.  My 80 DK (Darxs) and Cayn were given to a friend, but I ended up getting this paladin back (at level 70) and leveled her up.  I was in The Elite Parlor for a bit on this character, since it was the first guild invite I got, but I didn't feel like it was a good fit.  I'm looking for a guild where I can be casual and be myself and be surrounded by solid players.

What do you want from a guild?
Camaraderie, friendship, a skillful base of players to draw upon for quests/dugeons/raids.

Can you follow kill order?
Yes.  But it is hard to stray from my ret paladin facerolling.

Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player?  If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each?
Primarily Casual.

Casual - 70%
Raiding - 20%
PvP - 10%

I used to be pretty into pvp and would like to try again at some point, so these percentages might change.  I don't have the time I used to for raiding, but I'd like to be given the possibility of joining a raid or two if the opportunity arises.  I know how to play my role and like to think I'm well versed in how the game works.

Yes, as long as those giving criticism know what they are talking about =)

We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
No, but will gladly download them.  (I've found with the improvements on Blizz's regular interface they are doing a pretty decent job)

What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
Primary - Ret.  Secondary - Prot.   I prefer Ret, and haven't really tanked anything.  I will probably end up going ret PvE and ret PvP specs.

What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
Faceroll ftw?  FCFS, ret paladins take no skill?  Not really, there is a hierarchy of skills with a given priority, but I won't rehash what can be found in a 2 second google search.

Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants.
Eh, pretty standard...  Gear is the best I can find without really raiding.  Gems are pretty standard.  One nightmare tear to activate my Meta, the rest 20str.  However, I just picked up 2pc T9 and will be modifying my gems accordingly (10 crit 10 str yellows in anything that gives a socket bonus of 4+ str)

PVP Questions

You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
Either 1 or 2, I do like pvp but find world pvp sometimes more trouble than it's worth.

A tea bag is 1) a small porous bag containing tea leaves or powdered tea, onto which boiling water is poured in order to make a drink of tea, or 2) a verb.
I guess both, but I don't drink tea so I'd have to go with 2.  I have teabagged a man.  I'm not proud of it, but wow was it funny.

Do you prefer Battlegrounds, Arenas, or World PVP? Why?
Arenas, then battlegrounds.  I love(d) arenas but need a lot of practice.

What is your favorite battleground? Why?
WSG - probably mostly from playing a druid, but I love the simplicity of it.  It has been some of my best times in WoW.

Rank in important to stack for an Arena battle: Resilience, Attack Power/Spell Power, Critical Strike, Hit Rating.
Well, they are all important and depend completely on your arena makeup.  In general as a ret paladin I'd say hit to pvp cap (5%) = resilience (to 800 or so, which I realize I am FAR from), then sta/atk/crit, which will come with pvp gear anyway.

Heroic Shadow Labs (when it was hard).  Favorite boss fight:  Nalorakk in Zul'Aman... not sure why, but I liked this fight a lot as Cayn.

I'm not easily offended, but I do hate stupid people.
