Where did you hear about [HDL]?
Had a discussion with Patrick about warcraft and he mentioned the guild.

Why do you want to join [HDL]?
Based on my discussion with Patrick it sounded like you have a successful guild. I am tired of people not showing up in my current guild's raids.

What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
No guild history on Zul'Jin. My current (as well as my previous guild) have severe attendance problems.

What do you want from a guild?
I love playing with skilled committed raiders.

Can you follow kill order?
Yes

Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player?  If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each?
I do not consider myself casual or hard core, I am somewhere in the middle. I am 100% raiding oriented player.

Raiding Questions

Will you dedicate 5 days a week to raiding?
When I decide to divorce my wife yes.

Absolutely

Are you willing to take/accept criticism to make you a better player?
Absolutely. I always ask people how to improve myself.

We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?
Yes.

What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
Primary build is holy and secondary is retribution. I love all paladin talent builds, however currently holy build is my preferred.

What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
As holy I use mostly holy light to heal both tanks (10 man) with Beacon of Light. I make sure sacred shield is always up on main tank. I use Flash of Light on the person I have sacred shield (mostly main tank) to keep the HoT, and also to heal raid members. For spiked damage I use holy shock to quick heal a person with low health.
As retribution I follow the boring FCFS rotation

Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants.
As holy paladin I stack on intellect as much as possible, because I use holy light. I have a second set (a little outdated now) stacked with spell power for heavy use of flash of light (not really my preferred healing style). For enchantments I have mostly spell power.
As retribution I mostly gem for strength and hit/expertise until I reach the cap.

What do you think of Gearscore?
I think gearscore has its purpose, however it can not show if a player is competent or not, especially now that you can get tier 9 gear from just running heroics. I think it can be used mostly to determine the level of effort on end game raid bosses.


PVP Questions

You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
I am not really interested PVPing. If I get provoked I attack (on PVP realms)

I do some battlegrounds when i am really really really really really bored.

What is your favorite battleground? Why?
Isle of Conquest. I think its less boring that the others.

Rank in important to stack for an Arena battle: Resilience, Attack Power/Spell Power, Critical Strike, Hit Rating.
On my PVP set (which i rarely use) I stack on resilience.

Favorite 5 man is Utgarde Keep. Favorite boss fight is Mimiron.

Nope. I can tolerate anything but insults.

George, swing by anytime to ask me questions about the guild. Just to reinforce a concern that was raised - we are a casual raiding guild. We do not have minimum attendance, and there are some weeks we run light. That said, one of our holdups is healers, so that may help with the raiding-free nights.

Also, do you pay attention to the World Cup news - Would you support soccer like BGs in WoW?

I am from Europe (Greece) and I love watching the world cup. Now Orcs vs Blood Elves soccer PVP would bring the game to the next level  ; B).
