Why do you want to join [HDL]?
Ya'll seem like a fun, laid back, social, and active guild

What is your guild membership history? Why did you leave or want to leave?
My first character was a hunter on Silvermoon, but when BC dropped, my real-life friends playing alliance on Zul'jin (Endless Dawn) re-rolled Horde, so I x-ferred all my characters to play with them in their horde guild Attack the Darkness.  I leveled this toon as a healer for that guild but got overwhelmed with 2 jobs roughly 6 months ago.  Long story short, took a break, came back, AtD went almost completely inactive.  The guild I'm in now isn't very social, which is no fun.

What do you want from a guild?
Have fun, down some bosses, drunken nostalgia raids

Can you follow kill order?
sure, I can even heal the ppl that are

Are you a Casual player, Raiding oriented player, or a PvP oriented player?  If you think you are a combination of any of those, what percentage of time would you spend on each?
Casual/Raiding: Casual 60% Raiding 30%  PvP 10%

No, gotta have some time for Halo and drinkin'

What is your primary and secondary talent build? Which do you prefer?
Holy...........Ret.  I prefer holy, healing is fun to me, and my ret set is horrid, hopefully I can get working on my shaman to have another healer

What is your rotation for your primary and secondary builds?
heal heal heal heal some more

Explain your gear choices, including gems and enchants.
Brilliant King's Ambers in all slots save 1, for Nightmare Tear to fill Blue/Red requirement for Meta Gem.  All spellpower and intellect enchants.  Focus on Intellect, SP, Crit, Haste, and Mp5 for gear.

What do you think of Gearscore?
Great to see where a specific toon has been.  It's absolutely terrible at knowing how good a player is........hell I outhealed a pally with 900 more GS points than me with less overheal.

PVP Questions

You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?
1)Take him down with all the powers of a holy pally......then teabag him.

A tea bag is 1) a small porous bag containing tea leaves or powdered tea, onto which boiling water is poured in order to make a drink of tea, or 2) a verb.

Battlegrounds, I can queue up and do dailies, crafting, etc. while I wait

What is your favorite battleground? Why?
AB, and old school AV, the ones that could last for hours.  The battles could just be so epic.

Because I already typed all this crap in! Seriously though, I play to have fun more than anything.  Having a fun social atmosphere is clutch.......otherwise you're just mashing buttons.

If you look around, Zach, you might notice we're a bit saturated with Paladins at the moment. On one hand, that means we have our pickings for buffs and what not but I'm not going to put a raid together of 10 paladins any time soon. So, as a Player of a Paladin applying to the Guild I need to make certain you understand that there is quite likely the chance you will have to sit periodically when it comes to raids. There will be raiding activity, that there is no doubt of, I'm just limited on who all I can bring and as of late ... we've got an over abundance.

All of that being said, none of that would keep you from enjoying the Social aspects of the Guild. PVP any? I know we're always looking for more PVPers. Enjoy running random Heroics? There are usually plenty of people ready to jump and fill up your party so it would be PUG free. Looking for a group to shoot the shit with, pass the time and have a laugh and chuckle while doing it? You couldn't find a better group of people in my opinion.

If you can understand and accept our current issue of having ALOT of raid capable Paladins in the Guild and are really looking for a Social environment as well, I think you would do just fine here.

Bah, if I can't get into a main raid, whatever.......there's always gonna be alt runs and whatnot in the future.  I do like to pvp, I'm in the process of building a holy pvp set......not far along with it so far, but started at least.  I'm usually up for anything though, randoms, lower raids, whatever.
