This seems like a good idea, here's my 2 cents:

Resto druid straight heals spec
Alternate resto spec for the DPS inclined

Boomkin PVE spec

Feral tank spec

NOTE: I didn't take into consideration when I worked these out that I used all the points, so these would be 85 builds.

Ugh, I'm hating that I can't finish out some talents with the amount of points we get at 80.  Regardless:
Mage
Fire Raiding
Frost PvP

Lots of points could be switched around in those, but that's probably what I'll be trying first.

The new Impact for Fire looks like it'd be pretty nice for AoE.

Warrior
Fury Raiding
Protection Raiding?

Ret DPS
Prot

Unless the talent tree's change a bunch, I think I will be using these specs come the patch.

Fire pvp looks pretty fun.  Something like this?

mana-free scorches while moving?  yes please.  Should give a lot more freedom to use mana shield more often.

Not a lot of wiggle room in the feral tree for dps talents.

Not sure what I'm going to be doing in Cata, but probably playing my mage.  Probably not playing my druid (maybe paladin?!).

Looking closer at the fire tree I'm getting more and more excited.  Blast Wave is a targeted spell like blizzard, and if you're AoEing it will cast a flamestrike on top of it.  Fun.

It seems like fire AoE leveling will be ridiculous.  Pull with moving scorch, drop a couple LBs on a huge pack, nova and blast wave/flamestrike.  Even single target you can permanently kite with mobile scorch infinitely without losing any mana.

Maybe its just this moving scorch thing that has me excited, it seems so foreign and awesome... I hope it stays.

EDIT:  Not to mention instant spammable flamestrikes behind you as you're running around gathering mobs.  Jesus I need to try this stuff out.  Are the new talents up in the PTR yet?

The only thing that's keeping me from being super excited about all the fun awesome new AoE is the need for more crowd control.  It's like in this expansion - shaman got Hex, Ret pallies got Repentance, but they only used it once in a blue moon (or in PVP) because the game became a huge AoE fest.  I worry that I won't be able to use a lot of the awesome new AoE's in Cata (or even living bomb, which is frustrating) since breaking a CC could very will mean a wipe (especially when a crit on a Fire AoE will leave a DoT.)

Time will tell, and who knows, maybe we can just AoE everything down again once we outgear it.
