The end is near.... my priest (who is Shadow atm), was asked last night in Hellfire to heal a ramparts run .... as Shadow.... he is 58. Now, with the right group, this would be doable quite easily....

But these where the same guys (2 DKs and a Ret Pally all below 60) that where spamming chat with "LF2M tank and healer for Ramparts then gtg".

Normally when asked to heal, I respond with "Shadow atm" and never hear anything again. But this time, I was told "OK. no problem. You can shift out and heal, though, right?".... that has to be a first of some kind. Wonder if I can use the excuse "I'm smite speced" effectively once I spec Holy/Disc in a few levels to get out of group requests. If so, I may have to screenshot that and send to WoW Insider.

I just don't get it, though. 3 classes that can tank and 1 that can heal..... just boggles my mind why you would try to get a healer and tank instead of trying to just get 2 other DPS instead. Yeah, you may not want to tank or heal, but you can. And it is much better than spamming "LF tank and healer" all evening.

now that u mentioned it. I saw the funniest thing the other day while i was looking for a group for a heroic. i see a group with 3 dks and 1 paladin in the looking for more tab. i knew the paladin from before and knew that he was holy spec, so i assumed they are probably looking for one more dps. i message the guy and he is like nah we need a TANK. I am like u have got to be fucking kidding me u have 3 DKs and not one of them wants to tank or is a tank. i thought the DKs were supposed to solve the lack of tank problem not only they didnt solve that, seems like most healers re-rolled as a DK and now there is a shortage of healer aswell LOL.
