Changes in 3.1 for warriors

# Changing stances now has a much reduced cost: you lose a maximum of 20 rage (10 with Tactical Mastery). For example, if you have 100 rage and change stances, you will have 80 rage remaining. If you have 10 rage and change stances, all of your rage is lost. In addition, we may change the penalties associated with some stances.
# You now gain rage when damage done to you is absorbed, such as through a Power Word: Shield.
# Blood Frenzy now causes 2/4% physical damage done.
# Sunder Armor (and similar debuffs) now reduces armor by 4% per application, and is now a single rank. Creature armor has been globally reduced so that debuffed targets should take about the same damage from physical attacks that they did before this change. The net effect should be that this debuff is slightly less mandatory in PvE and is not disproportionately more powerful against cloth targets in PvP.
# We are also adding increased damage to Arms, possibly through Overpower or Slam.
# We are also looking at granting rage when the warrior blocks, dodges or parries.

Block, sure - but dodge and parry? I think the avoidance tank niche is already met with Druids and Death Knights.

I wonder if this would stack with Blessing of Sanctuary.  Since boS helps regenerate mana, rage, energy, RP each time you parry block or dodge.

That's the rumor.

I know Warriors need rage, and it's ridiculous that they have to get naked in Heroics if they are über geared. I just wish Blizzard had kept some RP in their mechanics.

It's probably a balance for the "bring the player, not the class" mantra they've been trying to work on. Makes sense almost. Give the shield-tanks that mechanic, then something else for the avoidance tanks?

I really hope the Arms buff they're talking about is and insane dps increase.  I've looked up so many specs and rotations and I still suck.  And it's not a gear issue,  Juggernawt is in some pretty sweet gear but I still get stomped by other classes in lesser gear.

Rage is a warriors life-blood and if u cant generate it then ur dead or next to useless. Raikoh has some rage issues at times since he has some good avoidance but this new change in the way to obtain rage should help him out alot. I was having a hard time finding the right talent specs to get the maximum rage i could get per Heroic and Naxx but now it shouldnt be any trouble....i hope  ::)
