You've played that shooter, that shooter that is fucking awesome... and then it's got the one gimmick vehicle level, which you can tell they didn't know what they were doing with vehicles, and it felt all floaty and things didn't shoot right. The same mistake happened in World of Warcraft.

Lots of these vehicle quests, they're more fun for the designer than they are for the player.

A good read that makes you think, "Why don't you fix it, then?"

Because people are still paying their $15 a month for enjoy bad vehicle quests with little or no complaint.   If the huge populace of the game isn't going to complain to make changes why should Bilz stress about it.

when starcraft 2 comes out or a more hardcore mmo made by blizz odds are im gone unless something major changes soon. im pretty bored with wow atm

Half of the fun of this game is being online with my friends.  It could be stick figures throwing rocks, and it'd still be me online with my friends.  As long as my friends still play the game, I'm probably in.  The upside of me taking my time in leveling my toons is that I get to stretch the experience of the new content out.  You guys burn through it so fast!

Yes, but ZOMGPHATEPICZNPURPZ don't come from enjoying quest lines. That's what people really want.

I quit WoW for a while and played WAR and it was fun. In the end, though, I came back to where my friends are. Now that Rod is high enough level for Wintergrasp, time to get some more PVP done.

i like raiding, and for the most part i like wow. but, when its just so fucking easy it gets boring.

Blizzard is like a drug dealer and Wrath was the entry level drug to get more people hooked.  Progression guilds will tackle Ulduar and hardcore guilds will tackle the hard modes.  Raiding will be different in 3.1.

we can only hope. thats the reason i havent been doing it on the tr, if i were to be disappointed i would prolly be taking a break right now

They've tried both extremes. The tougher 40-mans and the easier 20-mans Pre-BC. Kara and ZA for the semi-casuals, the other 25-mans for the more hardcore people. The guild-destroying Sunwell. Now they're trying something different for Wrath. I'd say this was a good plan, except the hardcore players were left with nothing to do early on. Yet even now, I talk to players from top guilds and they still play. I wonder why sometimes.

Yep, and these are the same types who, in real life, focus on getting the most money, the best car and the biggest house.  Meanwhile, they don't realize that I'm nailing their hot wife because she thinks I'm a helluva lot more fun than her uptight husband...  ...and they usually end their days depressed and sucking on the barrel of a gun, or dead in the seat of that car they worked so hard to get.
