HDL

The Death Knight is a tank/melee DPS hybrid, which leads me to think the next Hero class will be a healer hybrid. Will it be a healer hybrid, with ranged DPS and heals (Archmage from WAR), or with melee DPS and heals (Warrior Priest from WAR)? Will it be another tank hybrid, able to heal and tank, with enough variation from Paladins? Something else entirely, like a classless race?

I think it would be neat to just see an entirely new race thrown in with its own thing.  Like a Naga or Nymph.

Man I really hope they can bring some kind of Warrior Priest class into the game. That and the Disciple of Khaine were probably the two classes that were the most fun to play. Somehow, I think adding a class like that would destroy the foundations of WoW.

i think it will be something along the line of rangers in traditional DND. since you already have warrior priests (paladins?!). a ranged dps class that can also cast spells.

I would love to see something along the lines of WPs and DoKs too. Pallys are healing warriors, but these dudes healed by doing damage, and that makes them so much fun to play.

Yeah! That'd be awesome, like an elite hunter that can cast druid spells.

It's the mechanics of the warrior priest I like. A ranger-like class fits into the lore a la Sylvanas.

What they'd have to do, is make the ranger more of a rogue/hunter/druid type.  Say, no pets, no two handed weapons, but healing, stealth, and tracking abilities.

I'd play that in a heartbeat.

Yeah, and to add an idea Pat had about the original hunter class... the ranger class would tame its mounts like the hunter tames its pets.
