Where did you hear about [HDL]?
From an old friend: Singha/Drona

Why do you want to join [HDL]?
to do a little raiding, make new friends, and to run with some old ones.

If you are in a guild, why are you leaving?
No, I am just returning to WoW after beta testing then playing WAR.

Will you dedicate 5 days a week to raiding?
Sorry, but no.  I have RL obligations.

If you answered ""Yes" to the question above, are you aware that [HDL] is not a hard core raiding guild?  This is what I have heard from Singha, thus this sounds like a home for me.  I have played in and led hard core aiding guilds, and frankly, I am burned out on the 7 day a week schedule.

Will you dedicate 2 nights a week to raiding?  this is definately possible.

Addendum, 23 February 2008 - we are very full on melee DPS and are at capacity for tanks. We are currently seeking ranged DPS, and will always welcome healers.

You are headed to run an instance with non-guildies when you spot a flagged gnome. What is the proper course of action: 1) Ignore the gnome and head to the instance, 2) Send a message to the guild of your find. flag immediately, and kill the gnome, leaving the PUG to wait, or 3) neither. If you selected 3, what course of action would you take?

Normally my attitude is 'if it is red it is dead', but if I have committed to a pug, then I would pass up the red to not keep the others waiting for me.

Notify the others in the group of my find then if they choose to attack, I will too.  I don't like to keep others waiting for me at an instance.

A tea bag is 1) a small porous bag containing tea leaves or powdered tea, onto which boiling water is poured in order to make a drink of tea, or 2) a verb.

Both!!

Does .Net suck?

Anything with the Microsoft prefix sucks!!

Whiskey or whisky?

or whiskey, Scotch, Gin, etc...

Rank in importance to you: Raiding, Fun, PVP, Loot, Camaraderie, Wine, Women/Men, Music, Altaholism, Crafting.

Fun, PVP, Cama...too, many words, my brain is melting!!!

Please provide a perl script that will sort a CSV file by first column, then second, and then insert into a mysql database.

Um....no!!

Can you follow kill order?

Being from many raiding guilds....this concept is not beyond me.

We do require Omen and Deadly Boss Mods. Do you have these installed?

Just having restarted, no, but willing to install whatever mods the guild requires

Are you aware the [HDL] is largely a collection of angry and cynical players and under-geared toons?

Sounds like  a slice of heaven!!

Really? Why do you still want to join [HDL]

From all i have heard from Singha, and being a casual player, your guild provides the best mix of raiding to personal play that I enjoy.

Singha

Sweet is a damn fine hunter and a really great guy.  He was one of my mentors when I first moved to Zul'jin almost 3 years ago and I'm really happy he's decided to come back to WOW.

Vitandus

Singha is a good enough recommendation for me. Drop us a tell in game.
