I'd argue the same that DK's have legendary's available to them as well :)  You can go farm molten core for your thuderyfury or sulfuras.

I'm more curious as how you itemize that kind of weapon if you are making it for classes that value much different primary stats - or do you put both high str and high agi on it?

DK's and Hunters are very different beasts.

For the most part though I'm pretty psyched about the expansion.  Guild leveling sounds awesome btw.  With some of us achievement whores, HDL will be level 20 in no time!

Healer Legendary I suppose :)

I wish they had added dk's to Illidan's weapons, that'd be fucking hot.

How the fuck can it be both a dk and a hunter weapon?  How would you itemize that?  And why give a legendary 2h to only dk's, and not warriors, and paladins too?

Well, the Illidan weapons were Rogue, Warrior, Hunter only.  But yeah, it's dumb that not all 2H users can wield it.
Play like ya got a pair.

I think they already said they want SC2 and Cataclysm to be the 2010 releases, and Diablo III not until 2011 :(

I think I should take back my earlier comments. Blizz seems to be adding quite a bit of "new" content here. Contrary to what it seemed before BlizzCon. The raiding looks to be more interesting than it was originally portrayed by MMO. The derivatives may not be as.... derivative.

Good: Mastery system, Archeology, Goblin Shaman, stat simplification
Bad: Archeology, All Worgen, Dwarf Shaman, Tauren Paladin, stat simplification

They have both Good and Bad. Archeology seems "grindy" and it also seems to be kinda cool and will probably end up being required for raid progression through the Path of Titans. Stat simplification (for healers and caster dps) can be great, but it also seems that it will create some new problems with balance across the healer types and make a lot of the caster dps more homogeneous (both a good and bad thing).

    Q u o t e:
Seriously? DKs and Hunters? What the heck is blizzard thinking. Hunters got a legendary last expansion and DKs are a brand new class. I wouldn't be so upset about DKs though if it was useable by any melee class, but theres really no reason to give hunters another legendary so soon. Ever since Tigole left, it seems like WoW is being developed by a pack of retarded monkeys.

Guys, it's a DPS 2H Axe. Unfortunately sarcasm and humor don't always read through text. So line up for your legendary weapon, deathknights, warriors, ret paladins and enhancement shaman!

This quote is taken from the Dungeouns & Raids forum on the blizzard forums.  The poster is Valnoth, a blue poster.

Now that the legendary axe is confirmed for all classes that use 2h dps weapons, I call dibs!

Edit: Anyone capable of using a two-handed axe can use Shadowmourne.

The stat allocation may not benefit hunters or shamans as much as warriors, DKs or paladins.

This post taken from damage dealing forums was written by GC.  So, double dibs!
